Very enjoyable tour of the subway Really enjoyed this tour. Our guide Pete was really knowledgeable and answer all our questions. It’s a little be different to the ‘normal’ tourist tour, and great to just slow down and actually look around and notice things you wouldn’t normally pay attention too. I’d highly recommend the tour of subways.

Fun Ride Through Time Fun tour guide provided a wealth of information and offered multiple discussion points, which made for a very inclusive journey through the history of the underground. And catching a glimpse of the abandoned City Hall station was icing on the cake

Fantastic tour of Grand Crntrsl Station Christian was a fantastic guide. Not only was he extremely knowledgeable he was enthusiastic and made everything very interesting . The tour was wonderful and we would highly recommend it.

Great tour with unique hidden locations! We had an awesome tour and AJ was an amazing guide! He was so knowledgeable and knew so much, not only about Grand Central Station, but about NYC in general. We really enjoyed this tour and the chance to see areas that the general public don’t normally get to see. It was a great addition to our time in NYC!

Fascinating insights led by an entertaining and knowledgeable guide. Very much enjoyed the guide. He was super attentive and made the 100-minute tour feel like 5 minutes. The amount of knowledge he had was tremendous and it was presented in a light and humorous way. Highly recommended.

Richard was a great tour guide of The Secrets of Grand Central Station tour. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip and would never have known all the wonderful information of such an iconic site if we hadn’t taken the tour. Definitely recommend the tour and Richard

Informative but repetitive The tour was good. It gave a lot of information about an interesting space. The my tour guide Louis was very well-informed. He could answer questions, and he was willing to say that he didn’t know in those few circumstances when he did not.
Unfortunately, he said everything two or three times, with slightly different wording but no additional information. The tour ran over time. However, with less blather the tour could have finished early and have been more enjoyable.

Subway tour by AJ was great! I highly recommend this tour if you want to learn about the history of the NYC subway system. AJ, our tour guide, was phenomenal. He expertly explained the beginnings of the subway and how it expanded throughout the city.

Perfect 2 hour tour This was a very interesting tour with a great mix of architecture, history and even current topics like recent sales of buildings or renovations. I have been along this stretch of Avenue often and still learned some new things on this tour. The guide was knowledgeable and well versed in the material. As all Untapped tours, it was excellently curated and was delivered in exactly 2 hours as promised. I would recommend this tour to pretty much anyone.

Perfect outing when you have out of town guests. I say this as a lifelong New Yorker with a good grasp on city history. Took tee Perfect outing when u have out of town visitors. Fun and fascinating tour of Grand Central We took our family of native / life-long New Yorkers on a private tour of Grand Central. Our guide was enthusiastic and knowledgeable, bringing the history of the terminal and New York to life in an entertaining and joyful way. Everyone enjoyed the day. A great family outing!

Great Tour! Love this tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and kept a great pace throughout. Despite being a busy Sunday afternoon during the holidays, we were able to see so many cool features of the gorgeous GC and hear a lot of interesting fun facts about the building, New York history even though I’ve been a New Yorker for 12 years! I’m looking forward to doing more tours with this company. Highly recommended.

Grand Tour of Grand Central Loved our fast paced tour, and how well our guide wove us in and out and among the throngs of visitors. He was able to answer all our questions. Fantastic experience learning about Jewish experiences during the Gilded Age in NYC Family took the “Jewish Stories of the Gilded Age on NYC’s Upper East Side” tour with tour guide Richard. He was full of information about not only wealthy (and not-so-wealthy) Gilded Age families, but also Gilded Age history in general in NYC and how the two worlds intersected. Tour focussed on both existing and torn-down buildings, which was the starting point for discussions about society, business, politics and all sorts of other aspects of the time.

We highly recommend the GCT tour. We took the tour on December 18th and thoroughly enjoyed it. The tour guide Jonathan is very knowledgeable, ebullient and enjoyable to be with. Many, many years ago I majored in American History so Jonathan‘s extensive knowledge of the history of GCT and the Vanderbilt family was a treat. We wandered almost all of the ground level and upstairs floors that are open to the public. We even went outside and crossed the street so that we could look at the historic façade of the building.
Enjoy the tour, we highly recommend it.

Super knowledgeable guide. Interesting tour I had read a book this year about Amsterdam settling Manhattan so I was super excited for this tour to be able yo put my eyes on some of the things I had read. The tour guide Mandy was the best of the best guide for this. So knowledgeable and clearly loved sharing the info on this tour. Plus she had great insight into other things to see and read. The tour was all I hoped it would be.

Best way to see Grand Central! What a great way to learn more about Grand Central and its history! The small group size made it easy to navigate thru the station during the tour. We learned so much about the building and all the extras that you don’t see when traveling thru the station. You could tell that our guide, Christian, really enjoyed his job and sharing the history of the station. Would highly recommend!

Must Do!! This was an excellent tour. If you are interested in obscure facts and nuanced information about historic buildings like Grand Central Station, then you absolutely need to go on this tour. Jonathan was a walking encyclopedia of knowledge and explained it in a fun and entertaining way. This is definitely a must do.

Excellent tour of NYC History and Soaking in the Atmosphere of a Bygone Era. Great tour for anyone interested in NYC History, architecture, or the Gilded Age, whether you live in NY or elsewhere. You will learn a lot, see some amazing surviving beautiful mansions of different styles that somehow survived the constant “renovation” of NYC, and hear some fascinating stories that will leave you digging for more.

Richard, the guide, was knowledgeable and affable, kept everyone together, and answered any questions. It was a very pleasant way to spend two hours, even on a cold NY day.

GREAT! I learned a lot about the history and people (Vanderbilt family) involved with the terminal. Peter Raho is very knowledgeable about the subject and his passion for the terminal and the railroads made the tour so much better.
