On this one-time, special edition pub crawl you will learn the history of McSorley’s Ale House and Fraunces Tavern (a couple of the oldest establishments in the city), meet famous Irish characters like John Devoy and Johnathan Swift, explore the connection between Prohibition and Irish history, and hear a first-hand perspective on the evolution of the art of NYC bartending from your guide who has 25 years of experience in the business!
Guests have the option to purchase lunch at the final bar,John Devoy’s, where you’ll hear a special presentation on prohibition history inside a private event space.
Please note that drinks and lunch are NOT included in the price of your tour ticket. Bring cash if you wish to purchase a drink at McSorley’s as the bar does not accept credit cards. You will need two subway swipes to get to all of the bars on this tour.
