GCT Tour Excellent tour guide — very engaging, knowledgeable and friendly. We got to see areas behind the scenes in GCT that are not accessible to the general public. Highly recommend!
David B7/14/2025An informative wander Less secret places and more forgotten facts and obscure details, this tour was a leisurely wander in and around an iconic NYC building. Christian was an open and engaging guide whose porous approach to the history of Grand Central welcomed all questions and additional facts. The electronic earpieces worked better than many other tours I’ve taken and we had a good group, which adds a nice element to the experience.

Awesome! Worth your tme! Highly recommend! Great tour! Our guide was VERY informative, knowledgeable, and friendly. 5 of 5. I heard him ask different people numerous times if all was OK. You are on your feet the entire tour (there are some steps involved), but it isn’t a long tour and isn’t strenuous. There is a lot more to Grand Central Terminal (Station) then meets the eye and your guide will ensure you learn what that is.

Jonathan was one of the best tour guides we have ever experienced. His energy and knowledge was fantastic. P&T – Boston Once again Jonathan was amazing and with his energy and knowledge made the tour. Learned much about the history of Grand Central.
Pat O6/23/2025Informative contextualization of Grand Central Station’s space, story, & architecture Richard is a knowledgeable and informative guide. Our tour was intimate and pointed out many details of art and architecture only locals or historians would know how to see and appreciate. A space like this can seem overwhelming to the uninitiated, so my nephew and I wholeheartedly recommend this tour to tourists who want to soak in a bit more context along with the greatest hits. He was open to questions, provided myriad visual aids, and also pointed out two more recent tile mosaic murals that are quite beautiful and have their own stories. We would not have known where or how to notice these otherwise.

Fabulous Tour Jonathon was an amazing tour guide, and his passion for GCS is contagious! I highly recommend it even if you’re a local. Jonathon is wonderful with his inclusion of each member of the group, knows everyone’s names and is truly a fabulous guide! Thanks so much Uptapped Tours for a great afternoon. (Katie)

Interesting and informative! What an interesting way to spend a rainy afternoon! Our tour guide John, was informative, witty and funny as he shared some of the Secrets of Grand Central. As a local we often don’t take the time to appreciate the history around us as we run through the station to catch our train. I highly recommend this tour.

Grand Cental Station is GRAND Wonderful tour. Richard was a great tour guide – he was very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour – Grand Central Station is a beautiful landmark – so thankful it was saved from demolition so the world can bask in her beauty.
vicky k4/13/2025tip-top tour! This is an excellent tour. Our guide, Richard, was full of fascinating information about the history of Grand Central, had great photos to show, and spent just the right amount of time on each part of the larger story. Lovely guy. This was one tour that was totally worth it.

Lovely Beautiful vista! Well worth the price. Wish there had been more walking around to other areas of the Station. I would recommend it.
Jodi S4/09/2025Wonderful tour! John is amazing! This tour was great and John DeSanto was amazing! I can’t speak for all of the other tour guides, but I feel like we really lucked out getting John. He was a wealth of information, so fun and so friendly. He reminded me of Clarence from It’s a Wonderful Life! As a history buff, there was a good amount of info I had already heard about GCT, but I also learned a lot of new information too! Seeing the tennis courts was beyond interesting! I don’t even think I knew those existed. I also learned where the term “red carpet” came from! Our group was the perfect size – about 15. We booked this on a rainy Saturday and luckily it did not seem too crowded. I highly recommend this tour and best of luck getting John as your guide!

Informative tour. Highly recommended when visiting NYC Knowledgeable, informed guide. Good pace. Saw areas we might not have noticed on our own. Great historical information.
Ann C4/02/2025Lots of fun Awesome tour! AJ did a masterful job of organizing the group and moving the group through a bustling environment. He shared a ton of knowledge and you could feel the history come alive as he took us behind the curtain of grand central terminal. Fantastic tour guide and tour.

Good your for everyone This is the second tour of grand central I have taken and I still received new information. I took three teenagers along with me and they all thought it was interesting as well.
boneyfingers73/31/2025Great tour Louis was a great tour guide. Very knowledgeable. The terminal is an iconic NYC landmark and we loved learning the history behind it. I know the 90 minute tour is a shortened version of the actual 3 hour tour but I was disappointed that there was no mention of Jackie Kennedy Onassis and her role in saving the terminal.

Felicia J3/28/2025Outstanding tour of Grand Central TERMINAL Jon was an outstanding tour guide whose positive energy and enthusiasm for NYC made this walking tour a lot of fun. He was very knowledgeable and taught us the history of Grand Central Terminal as expected, but he also peppered in lots of other interesting tidbits about New York history. I highly recommend him and I hope to take other tours conducted by him in the future.
